HOW DO YOU SWEETEN YOUR BARS?
We sweeten our chocolate bars exclusively with Isomalt & Inulin. Both are natural sugar alcohol, which is unlike any other, as it doesn't affect blood glucose or cause bloating, making it the perfect low GI sweetener.
WHAT MAKES ZORAW CHOCOLATE BARS LOW-CARB, KETO & DIABETIC FRIENDLY?
We replace the sugar and bad fats found in traditional sugary chocolate bars with the perfect blend of natural keto sweeteners: Isomalt. We use cocoa butter, mass and nibs which ensure there’s an abundance of healthy fats!

Yes, all of our chocolate bars are naturally gluten-free and grain-free.
ARE ZORAW CHOCOLATE BARS DAIRY-FREE OR VEGAN?
No, our bars are not dairy free or vegan. All ZoRaw chocolate bars contain whey protein isolate.
WHAT ARE NATURAL FLAVOURS?
Each bar is composed of a blend of vanilla flavourings that are derived from natural sources such as vanilla orchid.
IS CHICORY ROOT (INULIN) A KETO-FRIENDLY FIBER?
Yes! Not all fiber is suitable for keto, but Inulin is! The type of type of fibre matters e.g. insoluble vs. soluble. The fibre source in each ZoRaw Chocolate bar is from inulin and cacao which are both insoluble fibres. Insoluble fibres cannot be absorbed and have no effect on blood sugar and ketosis. Therefore, can be deducted from the total carb count for anyone following a keto diet.

WHAT ARE HEALTHY FATS?
The high fat content in each bar comes only from the cocoa butter in the chocolate! Cocoa butter, which is high in saturated fat is made up of stearic acid. Steric Acid is a saturated fat but due to its chemistry it does not raise LDL cholesterol (the bad cholesterol) as do most other saturated fats. This is because stearic acid is actually converted to oleic acid (a heart-healthy monounsaturated fat) in the liver.
Those following a high fat and low carb diet do so that their body can switch to fat for energy rather than carbohydrates.
Of course everyone's dietry needs are different so always consult with your doctor if you have restrictions!
